Medical Home Remedies – Herbal Healing Kali Top 5
Maybe you have thought about how to improve your health. If that's the case, why not try his hand in a few herbal medications that you might read so much. They can be used in a variety of ways.
Let me provide some of the most Popular herbs. Not only have I included the grasses and growing conditions he likes, but I've also included how to improve your health as a nutritional supplement herbal.
Here's my "top five" list of medicinal herbs for gardeners. Some are fairly common, some of them may not have heard of unless you know their medicinal herbs – and a few may come as a total surprise!
1. Ortigas
Nettles family of plants has been used for generations (and more) as an effective aid against inflammation due to allergies, arthritis or lupus. Has also been used successfully as a tonic to help relieve symptoms of anemia. Nettles are rich in iron and vitamin C is therefore not surprising that so effective. Herbalists not Use only the leaves of this plant, but also have roots to good use for the treatment of other symptoms. The plant is rich in antioxidants, and flavonoids – all health-giving properties that medicine is only now beginning to appreciate.
Nettle is a plant that "reseeding" in itself is wonderful, because you will have access to it throughout the year. They are very easy to grow. But be careful where you plant this herb. If not pruned back, it grows to over six meters, which means that they squeeze out some other plants in her garden of herbs. If you start your first season nettles growing from seed, be sure to germinate from 10 to 14 days before placing them on the floor. Keep the seeds at room temperature, but the beginning of his planting in the spring. Then, you have to transplant the seedlings to their area of herb garden outdoors where they will receive full sun or shade perhaps only partial. Keep plants at least eight inches from each other, preferably 12 inches.
When the harvest of this plant for medicinal purposes, you want to be sure that you choose are "sticky." This indicates that the presence of resin, which is their active healing ingredient. Sometimes called nettle, you will want to be sure to wear gloves when harvesting. Nettles sting can pack a good, but even though harmless, it still hurts. You will find that you can reap nettle several times throughout the year, with gloves of course.
2. Marigold
This plant, with its showy flowers, it is an important part of many gardens of medicinal herbs. You never heard of him? Ah, but I'll bet you have seen. Is likely to call it a marvel. That's right! It is also called marigold and is one of the most versatile healing herbs on the market. From blooming orange and flashy, which is used by many as a washing the skin soft, tea or ointment, calendula is a staple in my own home herb garden. The general qualities of this gentle healing plant makes it a great ingredient for – you guessed it – diaper ointments and other items of skin care related to babies because of their natural ingredients.
Calendula is also edible, so feel free to enliven your next salad garnish with marigold / calendula. The Scientific studies show that calendula can really help boost your immune system, and the support and improvement of microcirculation – which is the blood circulation even in those little tiny blood!
Marigold / marigolds are easy to grow from a seed of herbs. Plant the seeds in early spring and cover lightly with about a quarter inch of garden soil. Once the seedlings emerging, you want people to transplant are about 15 inches away from each other. You will discover that germinate early and become very quickly. You'll be pleasantly surprised that produce their flowers so for the first time In mid-summer. The best part of this wonderful plant is to be reseeding. Once you have planted the first time, that will grow for years, provided it does not bother them.
Calendula love rich, well drained soil. They are hardy and can live in almost any soil type. While it can sound like the perfect grass – or a beautiful flower, with many healing qualities and resistance to survive in almost any field – the plant has one disadvantage – that attract the insects. Aphids seem particularly fond of marigolds. But do not let that discourage you. Simply wash with soap calendula or marigold insecticide place next to a fellow herb that repels aphids. Sure Always before bringing the house, they carefully inspected for the presence of insects.
3. Burdock
You can be difficult to find this herb in most gardens, but their inclusion in yours will make your backyard herb garden all that much more distinctive. Sometimes known as gobo burdock, but if you have not heard either as Your Name, I'm not really surprised. Although not native to this country, burdock grows freely in many areas. It was brought by the settlers during the early colonial times.
Burdock tea, on the other hand, is beneficial for the gastrointestinal tract pathways. Many also have been used to increase appetite slacking. The tea has been known also to help restore liver function in alcoholics.
Most people start a herb burdock seed. Start planting in early spring – the sooner the better, in fact. Cover the seeds with half of a quarter inch of garden soil or seed starting soil. If the soil looks dry when the plant, then you will want the water too. The seeds germinate quickly, so you should notice some outbreaks in about four to seven days. Take the seedlings until they are thin about three inches. Replant in rows separated by at least two feet. This plant prefers full sun, but is tough enough to withstand some shade.
If you are considering growing burdock, then you also need to consider the soil when it gets dark. This plant needs a well drained rich soil. The soil itself definitely to be loose and free of rocks and stones. And not only on the surface. Make sure the area beneath the plant, at least several feet deep, rock is free. This allows burdock root to take hold securely. It has a strong root. And yes, you can eat the grass too. Choose leaves when they are very tender, then cook as you would spinach.
If you are planning on using the burdock root for medicinal purposes, then you have to wait for a while. They take a long time to grow. Some herbalists say that it is necessary to wait about 100 days. Do not pick the roots before being at least two feet long. Then simply peel. You can eat the root raw or cooking. Many people use the root in soups, salads and even stir-fry dinners.
4. Manzanilla
This is perhaps one of the best known of all medicinal herbs, thanks to marketing, marketing and the popularity of chamomile tea. You may already have been drinking this tea before going to sleep at night or when your nerves seem shaken. The plant is known for its calming effects on the human body.More recently, scientific studies in England are discovering more healing powers of this plant lover. Drinking tea Chamomile can do more than you feel sleepy, can also boost the immune system, making it more resistant to colds, flu and other infections.
Did you realize that this herb can grow really fascinating and make Your Own tea? Use flowers to make tea. You can also add flowers to other types of tea to make a lighter, refreshing blend. Serve hot or cold tea, or be imaginative and to serve the mixture in a coup.
This herb is easily grown from seed of herbs. It loves full sun and does well in Middle Earth – but it really thrives in a rich environment. You want to plant their seeds in the spring. Once the seedlings grow, thin them 15-18 inches apart. Require very little care. When the collection of this herb, will have to wait until the flowers reach their peak bloom. For resources you can use fresh or dried plant. Drying flowers is very easy indeed. Simply out on a cool and well ventilated. That's all you need to do!
5. Echinacea
This healing herb is definitely worth an opportunity in any garden of medicinal herbs. You have no doubt heard of the wonderful properties of this plant. Echinacea has been observed in recent years several as a powerful booster for the immune system. Herbalists also use this plant for respiratory infections. In Europe, it is not unusual for drugs to doctors Echinacea prescribe to their patients for a variety of resources.
Many people take this herb in capsule or tablet form as a natural food supplement, especially during the winter months to prevent the spread of a cold or flu. Echinacea is found in many cold remedies herbal. Instead of getting a vaccine influenza for the winter months (child had not shot), I take a day supplement of chamomile and echinacea to boost my immune system. It is completely natural and better for the body.
This plant, with large bright flowers are also known as purple coneflower. There are three different varieties of Echinacea: pale Echinacea, Echinacea angustifolia and Echinacea pupuea. All three have similar medicinal effects.
You would think that with all these wonderful health benefits effective, Echinacea would be almost impossible to grow (we are not conditioned to believe that there is a catch behind every good thing?). Well nothing could be further from the truth. It's actually quite simple to grow. One of the most striking aspects of herbs success is its tolerance to dry conditions. It can actually grow this amazing plant grass seed with very little. Plant the seeds when the soil reaches 55 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the spring.
No need to do anything more initially to plant seeds on the surface. Within 10-20 days you should notice that the seeds germinate. Once this happens, then you'll want to cover about one eighth inch of soil. Moreover, when they reach the seedling stage, you'll want to thin the plants so they are about 18 to 24 inches apart.
This instead plant prefers full sun shade. You can also to test the pH balance of your soil before planting your seeds. This plant prefers neutral soils, with a rating six to eight. Echinacea flowers from June to October. And, oh yes, that attract the most beautiful butterflies!
